We tell you about
Fuerteventura

Why travel to Fuerteventura?
Well, for all the things that captivated us when we first saw them and that we would recommend to a friend, like you could be!

Fuerteventura is the perfect place to do everything or to do nothing!

If you’re a curious person you can use your stay to visit picturesque locations, take walks along volcano walls, walk for miles along endless beaches.
If you’re a sports enthusiast in Fuerte you’re spoiled for choice: you can surf, kitesurf, windsurf, play golf. If you rent a bike, you can discover the island by cycling on the long bike path, along dirt trails or on well-paved roads where cyclists are highly respected.

The information we want to provide you about Fuerteventura focuses on why it’s worth taking a trip to this island, what things captured us when we first saw them and what we would recommend to a friend, like you could be.

The journey we want to propose starts here, from your arrival by plane.
Fuerteventura is a volcanic island, and this is very evident when flying over it.
Traveling through its interior, you can clearly see the signs of eruption that have given the landscape a lunar appearance that takes your breath away.

The Desert of Corralejo Dunes

Thanks to the strategic location of Caleta de Fuste, in less than an hour’s drive we reach one of the most iconic places on the island: the desert of Corralejo dunes, Parque de los Holandeses.

Here the view is breathtaking.

You can park your car and walk on the immense dunes shaped by the wind and reach the sea.
The colors are as beautiful as they are dazzling due to the stark contrast between the light sand, blue sky, and green ocean.

The Village of El Cotillo

Another destination worth the trip is El Cotillo.
Located in the northwest, it’s a fishing village that’s very picturesque, enhanced by white beaches where the sea is a multicolored pool, the sound of the sea plays, and the waves dance with elegance.

Here we’ve seen fantastic sunsets, watching the fiery red sun settle into the ocean.

The Amazing Colors of Costa Calma

Moving south, the scenery changes: the road crosses through the heart of the island, barren and lunar, until it appears on your left – the immense ocean!

From here you’ll see strong contrasts between the dark earth, the white sand of the dunes, the blue sky and the turquoise sea.
Welcome to Costa Calma!

This is the area of endless beaches, of unique landscapes that thanks to the tides constantly change, making this place never quite the same.

Morro Jable

Let’s get back on the road and go even further south, to Morro Jable.

This location stretches along the entire beach, which is several kilometers long.
You can go from one end to the other walking along the shoreline or using the promenade full of small shops for shopping, then dive into a Caribbean-like sea that you won’t be able to resist.
